About us

Tobias Olofsson is a molecular microbiologist and a has a PhD in food technology at Lund University from 2007 with the thesis ”Bacterial identification by the 16S rRNA gene”. He is the managing director of ConCellae and one of the two founders of the company. He is also employed as a researcher at the research group called the Microbiology Laboratory at Lund University Campus Helsingborg, Sweden.

Alejandra Vásquez is a biomedical scientist and has a PhD in food technology at Lund University from 2004 with the thesis ”Systematics of Lactobacillus spp. of probiotic potential”. She is the research manager of ConCellae and one of the two founders of the company. She is also employed as a researcher at the research group called the Microbiology Laboratory at Lund University Campus Helsingborg, Sweden where she is head of the group.

ConCellae was started so that our research results from the Microbiology Laboratory and our knowledge about microorganisms could be used outside the University as well.
